Singapore | Feb Fabulous Five (And a bonus few as it was birthday month)

February has been an absolute whirlwind of adventures, and I couldn’t be more excited to share some of the highlights with you! From celebrating my birthday to immersing myself in Singapore’s vibrant food culture, here are some of the standout experiences that made this month truly special;

1. Atlas – Parkview Square, North Bridge Road

One of my all-time favorites, Atlas never fails to impress with its breathtaking 1920s-inspired ambiance and impeccable service. Whether it’s savoring a divinely smooth Atlas martini or indulging in their mouthwatering lobster roll (a surprising favorite of mine), every visit to this opulent bar and restaurant is a treat. From wine and cheese soirées with dear friends to indulgent Sunday afternoons spent sipping cocktails and enjoying high tea, I always leave feeling utterly spoiled!

Check out some of the dining experiences and events coming up here.

2. Claudine – Harding Rd

An evening hosted by Agra Wines at Claudine proved to be an unforgettable experience. From the exquisite wine selection curated by renowned winemaker Mark Haisma to the delectable food offerings, every aspect of the evening was a testament to culinary excellence. The venue’s stunning transformation of an old church into an interiors haven left me inspired, providing plenty of ideas for my upcoming home project in Ireland.

3. 67 Pall Mall – Scotts Rd, Penthouse of Shaw Centre

A rendezvous at 67 Pall Mall with a dear friend was a delightful affair, showcasing the club’s unparalleled dedication to fine wines and gourmet cuisine. With an extensive collection that would impress even the most discerning connoisseurs, we savored bubbles, scallops, burrata, and salad in an atmosphere that exuded sophistication and elegance.

4. Dempsey Cookhouse and Bar, Dempsey Rd

Sunday brunch at Dempsey Cookhouse and Bar was elevated to new heights with the addition of an entertaining and rather colourful Lion dance amongst the restaurants monochrome backdrop. Amidst the lantern-lit ambiance, we enjoyed a delectable brunch menu that catered to every palate. The attentive staff ensured that even our youngest companion, a lively 3-year-old, felt right at home.

5. Set of Six – Craig Rd

A romantic birthday celebration at Set of Six took an unexpected turn as the evening unfolded into a lively club scene. With Mike the DJ spinning infectious tunes well into the night, the energy soared, creating an unforgettable atmosphere of fun and excitement. It was the perfect blend of romance and revelry, shared with cherished friends.

6. Le Bon Funk – Club Street

No visit to Singapore is complete without a stop at Le Bon Funk, a wine bar and restaurant that never disappoints. Chef-Owner Keirin Buck, joined by Beverage Director, Jos Kjer, call it a wine adventure with good funk

From the soulful Motown music to the irresistible aroma of freshly baked sourdough, every moment spent here is a celebration of life’s simple pleasures. And let’s not forget the parmesan and tapioca fritters, a must-try for anyone seeking culinary bliss. I would go just for the fritters and the sourdough!

In addition to these fabulous finds, we also explored Dragon’s Chamber and enjoyed the panoramic views from the rooftop bar at Southbridge. With so many incredible places to discover, my love for exploring Singapore grows every day.

Now, I’d love to hear from you! Do you have a favorite spot in Singapore that you think should be on my wishlist? Share your recommendations please!

Big love,

  1. […] Rating: **** (We went as part of a Angra Wine tasting evening and the food (and wine of course) was absolutely divine. The building is an old converted church with such gorgeous interiors, not only is it a feast for the eyes, the food was also presented as works of art). You can read more about my experience and see some more pics here. […]
