Set up over a century ago to increase awareness and advocacy for gender equality, #IWD is gaining global traction and support and is a wonderful day to remind us of where we have come from and where we still want to go.
This year’s theme is #BalanceforBetter.
Balance is not solely a womens issue… it’s systemic and affects all industries in culture, business, politics, health and more.
We need to advocate for #BalanceforBetter across ALL sectors for ALL women and men. Regardless of preference, race, religion or socio-economic status.
At Hills & West, our ethos is to design unisex products for both men and women. Whilst some of our pieces are sometimes more aligned with one than another, we believe in equality for everything, including fashion.
Today is a day of awareness and advocacy for powerful and important causes…
But it’s also a day for celebration. Outside celebrating all women, it’s so important to remember the individuals who have made a significant and positive impact on your life.
