Aisha Loves | 2025: A Year to Celebrate Inspiration and Discovery

Welcome to Aisha Loves, a living journal where I share the things that captivate, inspire and energise me. It’s 2025, and I’m embracing the joy of uncovering and celebrating the extraordinary—from soul-stirring art and galleries that spark endless curiosity to furniture, fashion and words that fuel creativity.

Think of this as a treasure trove, a space I’ll continue to grow as I find more unique and fabulous things to love. Each piece, place and passion shared here holds a story, a spark, or a connection that I cherish.

So, let’s explore what makes my world brighter, more beautiful and infinitely inspiring.

Things I Love

Here’s how I’ve broken down my ever-growing list of loves:

  • Art: Artists who stir the soul and make me see the world anew.
  • Galleries: Immersive spaces where creativity blossoms and stories come alive.
  • Furniture: Designs that balance form, function and artistry to perfection.
  • Fashion: Where timeless elegance meets bold self-expression.
  • Words: Books, magazines, films, shows and stories that ignite fresh ideas and perspectives.

My Favourites So Far

Art
  • The Artling: Transforming spaces with art and design. (Global)
  • Gerwyn Davies: He is a theatrical artist, with a background in costume design, creating fantasy worlds, whose imagery is just is so fabulously OOT it makes me smile. I personally have Carried Away, with Hermes bag; Celine by Hedi Slimane shoes, in my home. (QLD)
  • Elsebeth Shaw: She paints, draws and creates using hundreds, often thousands of circles full of colour. Always with symmetry and style. It is a continuous body of work, of ‘Runway Show’ images drawing upon the genres of OpArt, PopArt, Architecture and Fashion. Also on the Wishlist. (
  • Montana Moore Art: Expressive, textural and evocative works. (Sydney)
  • Nemo Jantzen: Contemporary artist using acrylics, nails, thread and stainless steel. He is known for his large scale portraits using resin domes containing hundreds of miniature photographs to create one big overall portrait, mainly of women in the 60s – 80s. His works are big and bold and are definitely on the Wishlist. He is represented by M Contemporary Gallery (see below).
Galleries
  • M Contemporary Gallery: Showcasing diverse and inspiring collections. (Sydney)
  • Art Now: Contemporary art gallery always showcasing really interesting artists across a breadth of mediums. Also love their shop. (Singapore)
Words
  • Lux Nomade: A stylish guide to luxury travel.
  • Falmingo Estate: It’s the story of a lush orchard and pleasure garden on a California hillside overlooking Los Angeles, and the many hands that have helped tend it. It’s a philosophy that champions slow ways and ancient practices. It’s a quest for intimacy — between plants and people, body and spirit, heaven and earth. I bought the book and just love the story behind it and all the gorgeous imagery.
  • Hills & West Interiors Journal: Stories from my world of interiors and design.
